Plans & usage
What can I use with Free?
Right after install—no email—you get the same core features as Standard (Box Map, connections, Pipe, MCP, AI guidance, Normal multi-AI). Each document is limited to 100 Boxes, and only one Free instance may run. AI Work plan is Professional only.
How do Standard and Professional differ?
The difference is whether the Editor enforces work boundaries in multi-agent collaboration. Professional adds AI Work plan (Hard management) to enforce those boundaries; Standard does not. For typical use, Standard is enough.
What happens if a Free document has more than 100 Boxes?
You can still open the document, but Core is read-only (no create/update/delete). Layout, color, and memo adjustments remain available. Activate Standard or Professional to edit. Deleting Boxes does not unlock editing.
What are the concurrent PC limits?
Paid licenses may be installed on many PCs, but only 2 seats are active. You can Move a seat to change which PCs are active. Free has no seat pool—use it on the installed PC immediately, with only one running instance.
Does an AIMEDITOR license include AI tokens or model usage?
No. AIMEDITOR does not bundle or sell AI models. Account, subscription, and token costs for Cursor, ChatGPT/Codex, Claude, Copilot, Ollama, and similar tools follow each provider’s pricing. Your editor license covers the app and MCP collaboration features only—not AI usage fees.

What is the refund policy?
Try Free from the Store before you buy. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase. You will need your purchase email, the 4-digit PIN you set at checkout, and the order id.
Do I have to keep paying after purchase?
No. Purchase is a one-time perpetual license for that edition—not a subscription with recurring charges. Technical support lasts 1 year from purchase, and you can keep getting app updates through the Microsoft Store.
